NEW HARTMAN OIL CO., INC. OFFICE OPENS AT BERKELEY SQUARE
(WICHITA, KS) – Laham Development has announced that Hartman Oil Co., Inc. has opened their new corporate headquarters at Berkeley Square, on the northwest corner of 13th and Greenwich Road. The 44,000 square foot office building is the first to open in the master-planned development, a joint venture of Laham Development and Devlin Enterprises. Hartman Oil has moved into 14,000 square feet of their new building and will lease the remaining space. The announcement was made by Cathy Erickson, Vice-President of Laham Development.
The growth of Hartman Oil, over the past four years, necessitated the move to a new corporate location. Hartman's decision to move to Berkeley Square was based on the distinctiveness of the overall plan and access to K-96. Hartman Oil's building reflects a classic, architectural style that conveys a timeless look. A tumbled brick exterior features copper roofing accents over the main entry. The Hartman Oil building will set the benchmark for the Berkeley Square development.
Hartman Oil Co., Inc. is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the development, acquisition and operations of oil and gas properties in the Mid-Continent region. Hartman Oil is headquartered in Wichita with field offices in Garden City, Ellinwood and Great Bend, Kansas. The company currently operates in excess of 450 wells in Kansas and Oklahoma. Hartman Oil was founded in 1920 by W.L. Hartman. Now under Willis Hartman's leadership, the company has increased production sixty five percent since 2002 and doubled its size in proved reserves through acquisitions and the development of new and existing properties.
The Berkeley Square concept plan includes a 250,000 square foot office park, in approximately five buildings, 130,000 square feet of retail space and 61 residences. The residential component, named The Residences at Waterfront, is being built by Ritchie Development. Brick-paved entries, designated by stately monument signs, will mark the entrances to Berkeley Square Parkway. The office and retail development will include multiple landscaped commons areas, to compliment the buildings' architectural designs.
Shelden Architecture is the project architect. Christi Royse of J.P. Weigand & Sons is the exclusive listing agent for Berkeley Square.
