NEW MENU ITEMS TO HIGHLIGHT MENU AT
BELLA LUNA CAFE AT BRADLEY FAIR
Local diners, food editors and connoisseurs continue
to be impressed with Bella Luna Café which opened in July 2002
at 4618 E. Central in Wichita's College Hill neighborhood. Owner
and Chef Matteo Taha is eager to expand his following with a new
2,100-sq. ft. restaurant located between Randy Cooper's Fine Jewelry
and Talbots Petites at Bradley Fair.
The new restaurant, scheduled to open in early
spring, will feature a completely renovated interior with dining
for 75, outdoor seating, an open kitchen and a full bar. Bella
Luna Café was voted best Mediterranean restaurant by Wichita Eagle
readers in 2003.
Bella Luna enthusiasts and first-timers alike
will enjoy menu favorites popularized at the original location,
including the pasta diablo, chicken curry, fish sandwich, steak
sandwich, the fattoush salad and Taha's signature hummus. The restaurant
will feature dine-in, carry-out and catering.
The menu will be freshened with a handful of new
items to be introduced simultaneously at the Bradley Fair and College
Hill locations, including traditional Middle Eastern tabouli and
kibbee, additional pasta, sandwich and seafood entrées, and bread
pudding. A staff of 20-25 will include Taha's brother Ali, a chef
at the original location since it opened.
"Matteo's culinary skills and talent for hospitality
will provide an interesting new dining experience for Bradley Fair
shoppers," says Erickson. "Bella Luna is a wonderful addition to
the center and will complement the diverse culinary selection currently
offered at Bradley Fair." |
