BRADLEY FAIR TO BE SITE OF NEW BARNES & NOBLE

(WICHITA, KS) – Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world's largest bookseller, has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore at Bradley Fair. The announcement was made by Cathy Erickson, vice president of Laham Development. Erickson said the store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2008 at the corner of Rock Road and Bradley Fair Parkway.

The new 28,500 square-foot freestanding building will be constructed on the site of former Romano's Macaroni Grill. Demolition of the existing building will begin immediately. Key Construction will be responsible for demolition and construction of the new building. The new building will have the same Mediterranean-inspired design consistent with other Bradley Fair buildings. The bookstore will add a merchandise component not currently available at the center. Barnes & Noble will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD and magazine titles and include a café serving Starbucks coffee.

Barnes & Noble's bookselling innovations have established it as America's top retail brand for quality. For the fifth year in a row, the EquiTrend® Brand Study by Harris Interactive® named Barnes & Noble number-one in quality among the country's retail brands. One of the nation's most sought-after retailers and a Fortune 500 company, Barnes & Noble, Inc. operates 793 bookstores in 50 states.

Barnes & Noble conducts its online business through Barnes & Noble.com (www.bn.com), one of the Web's largest e-commerce sites and the number one bookseller for quality among online retailers, according to the latest EquiTrend survey.

A project of Laham Development, Bradley Fair is celebrating its 17th year. The arrival of Barnes & Noble brings the 280,000-square-foot center to 100% leased with 52 stores and restaurants. Among the focal points of the center is a scenic open-air Plaza where Bradley Fair hosts complimentary Thursday evening summer concerts and community events.

Bradley Fair opened in November 1990. In 2006, remodeling of the center allowed Talbots to expand its presence by combining the Talbots and Talbots Petites stores and adding the new Talbots Woman concept. The recently announced store additions of White House l Black Market and Genevieve G will both open in the third quarter 2007.

Project architect for Bradley Fair is Shelden Architecture. J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. is the exclusive leasing agent.
