HEALING WATERS MOVING TO BRADLEY FAIR

(WICHITA, KS) - Laham Development and Healing Waters has announced that Healing Waters Medical & Day Spa will move to Bradley Fair. Healing Waters will open in the space previously occupied by GapKids/BabyGap and anticipates a spring 2010 opening.

While the location and décor will change, the spa's core philosophy of "wowing" its customers and providing superior customer service will remain the same. Established in 2002, the Healing Waters concept began with a desire to bring advanced medical esthetics and personal pampering to the Wichita community. The spa, in its current location near Douglas and Oliver, occupies 5,200 square feet. The move to Bradley Fair will provide an expansion to 7,800 square feet.

While many may question expansion during a down economy, Healing Waters happily boasts increased revenues and client base over the past year that makes this move not only feasible, but also necessary. "We have quite simply just out grown our current space," says Gorecki. "Our clients and staff alike will be thrilled with the new facility."

Among some of the many enhanced amenities at the new location, customers will find an expanded relaxation room with a beautiful view overlooking Bradley Fair Lake, expanded locker rooms that include steam showers, additional treatment rooms and a private waiting area for the medical clientele. Expanded retail space will also be a feature of the new location, providing additional room for Healing Waters' propriety skin care line, Pure MD®, and other high-end retail lines, including the exclusive NARS® cosmetics line.

In addition to the expansion of the spa, Healing Waters will be expanding the sale of Pure MD® through a regional sales program and by adding the products to their website, making them available to the national community through e-commerce. Simultaneously, Healing Waters will be launching a charitable program called Pure Living™ that supports and provides for women of domestic violence. As the foundation of the program, Healing Waters will continue to provide services to women living at the local women's shelter one day a month at no charge, but will also begin exploring other options for ways to benefit this population, including a donation of proceeds from the sale of Pure MD®.

Healing Waters combines the amenities of a luxurious day spa with a state-of-the-art clinical environment. Services range from traditional spa treatments such as massages, facials and hydrotherapy to more advanced medical aesthetics such as BOTOX®, and Smartlipo™. Anti-aging and appearance-enhancing treatments are administered by a team of highly trained and licensed medical personnel. The Medical Spa employs registered nurses specially trained in state-of-the-art medical procedures. Healing Waters was voted Best Medical Spa in the country in 2004 and Best of the Best Medical Spas in 2006. Healing Waters opened their second location in Durham, North Carolina in the fall of 2005.

Beginning next week, Healing Waters will have a temporary office at their new Bradley Fair location for the purchase of spa gift cards.

Recent additions to Bradley Fair include Francesca's Collections, a boutique specializing in women's clothing, jewelry and gifts, Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza and Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates.

Christi Royse of J.P. Weigand & Sons handled the transaction. The project architect is Shelden Architecture and the general contractor is Key Construction.
