WHITE HOUSE|BLACK MARKET TO OPEN AT BRADLEY FAIR
CHICO'S EXPANDS INTO FREE-STANDING STORE LOCATION

(WICHITA, KS) – White House | Black Market has announced the opening of their 275th national retail store to be located in Bradley Fair. Another stand-out addition to Wichita and the stores at Bradley Fair, White House | Black Market will open October 10, 2007 in the former Chico's space, overlooking Bradley Fair Plaza. White House | Black Market offers women's clothing and accessories in timeless shades of white and black.

White House Black Market began in 1985 as The White House, a tiny women's boutique in Baltimore, Maryland offering white and ivory apparel. Continuing the monochromatic theme, Black Market opened in 1995. Due to the success of each store, the concepts were combined and in 1997 White House | Black Market was born. White House | Black Market is a fully-owned subsidiary of Chico's FAS, Inc.

Chico's has now relocated to its new Bradley Fair space in the free-standing building, in front of Bella Luna Café and Randy Cooper's Fine Jewelry. Chico's remodeled the former Talbots store to expand its selection of private branded women's clothing and accessories. The new store opened in August. Chico's began as a small store on Sanibel Island, Florida and has expanded to 574 front-line stores.

A project of Laham Development, Bradley Fair lifestyle center opened in November 1990. The 280,000-square-foot center includes 52 stores and restaurants. The center's highlights include a scenic open-air Plaza accentuated by a year-round fountain, Bradley Fair Lake, and two waterfalls. Bradley Fair Plaza is host to complimentary summer concerts featuring national musicians.
