DRS. CHUCK PIERSON AND CAREN WINDLE
LOCATING DENTAL PRACTICE TO
LEGACY PARK-WILSON ESTATES OFFICE PARK
NEW LEGACY PARK RETAIL CENTER ALSO ANNOUNCED
(Wichita, KS) - Construction is underway on a
new building at Legacy Park - Wilson Estates that will be the dental
office of Drs. Chuck Pierson and Caren Windle. Located on 21st
Street just west of Webb Road, the new 5,790-sq. ft. building is
the second office to be built on the 16-acre office development,
joining the Wichita Clinic Northeast that opened in August 2000.
The Pierson-Windle practice will occupy 3,590-sq. ft. of the new
building. The remaining 2,200-sq. ft. will be available for lease.
An additional 4,000-sq. ft. of record storage and mechanical space
will be located on the lower level. Occupancy is expected in the
fall of 2001.
According to Pierson, patients will be pleased with the new location's
added convenience. "Our new facility will offer patients a comfortable
setting, easier access and door side parking," says Pierson. "This
will make the new office especially appealing to our senior and
physically challenged patients." Pierson's practice is currently
located at 200 S. Rock Road, between Douglas and Kellogg. Windle
will continue to maintain her office in Haysville, working at the
Legacy Park office on selected days.
Laham Development company spokesperson Melissa
Cohlmia added that the Pierson-Windle practice offers an important
new healthcare component to the area. "With the Wichita Clinic,
the new Pierson-Windle dental office, Alterra assisted living and
Walgreens, Wilson Estates will offer a wide array of healthcare
services convenient to the neighborhood," says Cohlmia.
A project of Laham Development, the 95,000-sq. ft. Legacy Park
will consist of up to eight single and multi-story buildings from
5,000 to 60,000-sq. ft. along with extensive landscaping and pedestrian
walkways. Spangenberg Phillips is the project architect and general
contractor is Farha Construction. J.P. Weigand & Sons
is exclusive leasing agent.
Plans Underway For New Legacy Park Retail
Center
In addition to the Legacy Park offices, plans are underway to
add a new retail center to the development. The center will include
approximately 18,000-sq.ft of space located along Webb Road just
south of Walgreens. The office park and retail center will be
linked
via an internal road and a common water feature. All buildings
will reflect the Mediterranean architectural style of the entire
Wilson Estates development. "With Bradley Fair at Wilson Estates
nearing completion," says Cohlmia, "we continue to see a strong
interest in upscale retail space. This new neighborhood retail
center at Legacy Park will include six to eight stores and service
businesses." No date has been set for construction to begin. |
